EFFCO Finishes & Technologies is an MSME from Pune. It is a family-owned and run company founded by Mr Kalyan Dhakane & Mrs. Laxmi Dhakane in 2008 specialising and innovating in manufacturing eco-friendly corrosion protection technology.
EFFCO believes in manufacturing environmentally friendly new-generation corrosion protection technology which replaces the polluted electroplating mechanism thereby stopping the discharge of pollutants. Additionally, it does not involve using acids and water, thus giving us a greener Earth!
EFFCO constantly uses innovative technology to save national resources like Scrap Paint Recycling.
The Founder of EFFCO, Mr Dhakane comes from a humble background of farmers from the interiors of Maharashtra (Beed) and now has an experience of more than 28 years in this industry. EFFCO now has an R&D Department setup and Manufacturing plant in Pune. The Company has begun exporting its technologies and products to Russia, the European Union, Latin America and North America.
The Company has received various awards and recognitions at the national and international levels.
Effco Finishes & Technologies Pvt Ltd was founded by Mr. Kalyan Dhakane & his wife Mrs. Laxmi Dhakane in year 2008. The Company was founded with a vision to reach momentous heights in the global economy where we can contribute significantly towards producing eco-friendly technology.
Mr. Kalyan Dhakane has 28 years of experience in the surface coating field. His journey from farmer to a trader and then a manufacturer has been a roller coaster. It was his dream to be one of the only manufacturers of zinc flake coating technology. He has been consistently investing time and effort in building such a technology so that the Company can cater to all requirements of the customer with its superior quality products and the new generation smart coating technology. With Mr. Dhakane being from the farmer’s family has always advocated for the nurturing Mother Earth and hence all the products are made with a conscious effort of being eco-friendly in nature!
Effco Finishes & Technologies Pvt Ltd is an Indian manufacturer of water base & solvent base zinc Flake chemistry as per ISO10683 /ASTMF3393 for automobile, Railway, Telecom, Windmill, Solar industries, and a few other sectors under the brand name of “ECOMET”. Our products are widely used in these industries and are efficient replacements for electroplating & Hot Dip Galvanizing.
We also provide turnkey projects for setting up plants & machinery for zinc flake coating technology. We are a stop solution for our customer’s needs.
Corundum Zinc flake coatings are non-electrolytically applied coatings that provide good protection against corrosion. These coatings consist of a mixture of zinc and aluminium flakes, which are bonded together by an inorganic matrix.
In 2008, we started our journey in Mumbai, India which was the first step to shape our dream into reality. In 2010, our operations started with a small facility in Mumbai. We started serving customers with our products and services as per their requirements in different sectors.
In the year 2013, our company made a strategic decision and relocated to Pune, the automotive capital of India. This decision was driven by our ambition to expand our services and cater to a larger section of the automotive industry, including its related fastener industry.
Our journey has been full of exciting challenges and learning experiences - starting with a small unit, our company completed a decade in 2018 with its headquarters and manufacturing along with the R & D facility at our Hinjewadi, Pune.
By 2022 the company has appointed distributors in Argentina, Netherlands and Russia as a business partner for sales, marketing and distribution for the innovative products made by EFFCO.
By May 2022, the company and its innovative Technology have been awarded for OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT- ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT by All India Achievers Foundation, New Delhi.
By June 2022, the company and its innovation technologies have been awarded for Fastest Growing Indian Company Excellence Award, GLOBAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES-ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT held on 17th July 2022 in Bangkok.
